During his speech at the DNC convention, Khizr Khan, whose son Army Captain Humayun Khan was killed in action in Iraq, slammed Donald Trump saying, “You have sacrificed nothing and no one.”

“Let me ask you, have you even read the United States Constitution?” Khan asked Trump. “I will gladly lend you my copy. In this document, look for the words, look for the words, liberty and equal protection  law.” The event was organized by Ramsay Talks was to have featured Khizr Khan, who is Muslim and a U.S. citizen, talking about “what we can do about the appalling turn of events in Washington—so that we don’t all end up sacrificing everything.”

“As a consequence, Mr. Khan will not be traveling to Toronto on March 7th to speak about tolerance, understanding, unity and the rule of law,” it said in a statement. “Very regretfully, Ramsay Talks must cancel its luncheon with Mr. Khan. Guests will be given full refunds.” Khan said in a statement, without explaining what the circumstance is.

“This turn of events is not just of deep concern to me but to all my fellow Americans who cherish our freedom to travel abroad,” Khan said. “I have not been given any reason as to why. I am grateful for your support and look forward to visiting Toronto in the near future.” He continued.

Khan, a U.S. citizen,  immigrated to the USA from Pakistan, a country that is not one of the countries listed in Trump’s new travel ban order, which are Iran, Syria, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen and Libya.
