OnlySimchas.com Gives Social Networking a New Face

BERGENFIELD, NJ - August 23, 2006 -The most popular Jewish networking site on the web, OnlySimchas.com, announced today the release of new technology to provide more recognition and social interaction among users.

The new function, called "NameTags", allows users of the site to browse the site and claim (or "tag") photos of themselves. When they find a photo among the site’s 200,000 with their picture in it, they allocate the area over their face as a link to their profile.

"This technology allows users to determine the identity of other participants in a celebration - not just the celebrant," explains co-founder Dov Katz, the site’s lead developer. "After a picture is tagged, users can search the entire site for other appearances of the same individual. This adds a new dimension of social networking, and we are excited to provide this level of sophisticated technology to our users."

"NameTags will allow us to leverage the power of OnlySimchas.com with FutureSimchas.com, our matchmaking utility, by identifying potential dating partners amidst their circle of friends," adds Yossi Markovitz.
