I am pretty sure that I am signing the correct guest page, but if I am wrong do forgive me. If this is the Fuchs family that once upon a time ago, took me under their wings and nurtured me for a very brief time on their Bedford Avenue porch, then I am signing the correct page. However, the relocation to New Mexico kind of through me off. Is that recent? Anyways, I would like to tell you that I have a soft spot for Adina. My instincts tell me that it was Adina who convinced everyone not to chase me away, and I know that it was Adina who left me those very touching poems next to my bowl of milk every morning. I don't know if I ever thanked you properly, but they really meant a lot to me. Also, I would like to thank the Fuchs family for sending me to a particularly lax pound. I would also like to thank you for sending me the pound where I met my beautiful wife. Together we were able to escape, and we began raising our own family. I had such fond memories of Flatbush (thanks to you) that we decided to raise our family there. We now live on 24th Street. Please let me know if you are in the neighborhood, as I would love to repay you for your kindness. (And technically I do owe you "shadchanus") And of course, like all men, after I got married I gained some weight...please put out only skim milk. Looking forward to being in touch! With much fondness, The Cat

What the blankety blank???? Miss Fuchs (this is probably the last time I can call you that)...what chutzpa! If I'm not mistaken we've done everything together since we've been in diapers practically and now you get married without me there? To be honest with you, I've been sitting here sobbing uncontrollably...(and I don't even have Kleenex, or Neutrogena Norwegian Formula, or milk in the fridge, or a clean pair of socks, or gas in the car...probably cuz I don't have a car, but that reminded me of you, or a working phone line...but I think I'm getting side-tracked here) Anyways, to get a grip and successfully "Quit It," I tried to calm myself down by painting my feet, and writing your name all over them...but learning from my mother, I already cleaned for pesach and the kosher le'pesach cholov israel nail polish comes off very quickly, so that didn't help...I also tried to suck on toothpicks hoping that the sucking feeling would remind me of our great accomplishment together...if not for you Adina, I think we would both still have a phobia of toothpicks...I wanted so badly to play chess on a street corner hoping that the game would calm me down, but I made numerous phone calls and nobody seems to know where there is a street here that's like Ocean Parkway...I collected all of the hairs that fell out in the shower and hung them on my front door thinking that maybe the constant reminder of you would soothe me...It was working until the baal hadira knocked on my door and told be that the neighbors are complaining...I made macaroni for lunch...I made it extra soapy and then insisted on taking it out of the pot seven times (to remind me of you walking around seven times) to rewash the noodles...I even had my husband dress up like spiderman for the day so that I would feel like I was in your house...I am sitting on the computer and I found a great video of Bill Clinton and Al Gore's victory speech of 94 and watching it puts a smile on my face...(i gotta admit, they go a little of key by the "breathe fresh air anew - Ah!" line)... and I arranged for a car to come pick me up a bit later and take me to the cotton fields so I can pick some bales of cotton...For breakfast I ate donuts that left powder on my lips and I'm gonna make chicken with zesty barbeque sauce for dinner...I promise I will check the lettuce that I am making for lunch fifteen times...At 12 o'clock I will get up and do a completely wacked out-dance around the apartment like I went completely insane and lost every amount of sanity - I will sing at the top of my lungs and scare everybody that thought they knew me....that will definitely remind me that you are getting married!!!!I am driving everyone over here bananas with the matchmaker song from Fiddler on the Roof playing over and over...and tonight I will go to sleep on the couch, with my lenses in my eyes, completely dressed and wake up at five in the morning to go shower...I'm sorry, but there is one thing I will not do - even though I am missing the wedding I will still not bring myself to eat a piece of gefilte fish... not all of have such sophisticated palates...I will be thinking of you every second of the day...I will say an extra perek of tehillim for you when Barbra is pulling out your hair...I will try to call you soon to wish you a Mazal Tov in person, but I have been trying to get through to you for the past two days, but all of your voice mail boxes are full...so in case I don't speak to you before the wedding, please know that I will keep on calling you throughout sheva brachos until I finally get to speak to you!!! Adina, from the bottom of my heart, I wish both you and Avrumi all the brachos in the world and may today mark the beginning of a beautiful life together filled with hatzlocha, mazal, lots of peanut butter and kol tuv!Thinking of you every second! Love, Nancy Drew P.S. I almost forgot...the mouse says chow!
