Dear Steven and Elissa, I don't know if I've ever felt more overjoyed in my life. I actually had to open an onlysimchas account just to sign your page. Elissa, you were like the mother I never had. You treated me like your own child...kind of like an NCSYer. You would comb my hair (that's right, I only have one) and wash my foot and leg when it got dirty. You gave me a closet to sleep in and a car trunk to hang out in. Although, it may not seem like you did so much for me you must remember that until then i was living in the backyard. It meant so much to me when you dressed me up and took me to Shira and Moti's wedding. It showed that you were proud of me, and that you thoguht I was beautiful. Steven, I haven't met you so many times, and I've never met your family, but IY"H I'll be at the wedding and I'll be able to have the zichus to dance with all of them. People always say you should never room with your best friends...well, we've defied that logic many a time, from 15H to 3E. It all began back in the ICJA library where we played family feud and made a special friend through onlysimchas (hint: smilebright3@yahoo.com)...our ability to make friends so easily accompanied us to that special summer before Israel- two words: RED SIENNA or meat sandwhich...even though we were in different seminaries, we never spent a thursday night apart and we always had memorable anywhere in Israel shabboses (ex. "ya got ruthie, rachel..." and the girl who broke the record for the most ponytails in her hair...42). what makes 3E so great is you...and the view from our window and the endless fun nights watching you-tube videos. STEVO- thank you for making our best friend so happy. we knew it all along (hindsight bias). we're so happy that you are a part of our life now! lisslyloola- what can we say, mazal tov? no too generic, this has to be original- sort of like your middle name (Neala). Elissa, over the past few years we have grown such a strong bond and have advanced from almost strangers to best friends.
