Jerusalem, Israel – Dec. 19, 2017 – The last night of Hanukkah 5778, saw tens of thousands of people arriving to the Old City streets of Yerushalayim.

By Jaffa Gate, musical performers and artists with live fire torches entertained. The nearby walls were colorfully lit up. Entering the narrow way by the Armenian Quarter, large dreydels were spinning overhead.

Traditional chanukiot lined the lanes of the Rova, by some of these Hanukkah menorahs young men were sitting and watching the flames.

The Hurva Synagogue had a light projection on its walls, as did many other locations along the route for holiday crowds.

Elephants, Maccabees, donuts, candle lighting at the Kossel and in Mamilla Mall and more, families were out in large numbers, walking in the mild temperatures, to witness the miracle of another Hanukkah in Yerushalayim
