Cristiano Ronaldo Could Make a Surprise Return to the Premier League

Cristiano Ronaldo, a Portuguese striker, may return to the Premier League in the future after his coach at Al Nassr talked about his plans to move.

In August 2021, Manchester United paid Juventus £12.8 million to bring Ronaldo back to Old Trafford. This was a big deal. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner had a good first season back at Manchester United, scoring 24 goals in 38 games. If you have the same spirit of victory, you can try Cooks Casino for more games.

But Ronaldo’s future at Man Utd became uncertain when Erik ten Hag took over as manager in the summer of 2022. He wasn’t sure if it was smart for the team to depend so much on a 37-year-old player, and he wanted to help other players get better. So, Ronaldo lost his spot in the starting lineup, and Ten Hag decided to use attackers like Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, and Antony instead.

As expected, Ronaldo got very angry about sitting on the bench for so long, and he gave a bombshell interview to talk about his problems. He said bad things about:

  •  Ten Hag,

  •  some of the other Man Utd players,

  •  and the people in charge of the club.

At this point, it was clear that he couldn’t keep playing for Man Utd, so both sides agreed to end his contract in November.

Even though the legendary scorer wanted to join a Champions League club after leaving Man Utd, he ended up going to Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia. He has played for them twice so far, but he hasn’t scored a goal yet.

The contract between Ronaldo and Al Nassr runs until June 2025. Considering how old he is, he might end up retiring in the Middle East.

Cristiano Ronaldo Is Expected to Finish His Return to Europe

However, now, Al Nassr manager Rudi Garcia has said that Ronaldo wants to go back to Europe, which is a surprising turn of events. Garcia told reporters at a press conference:

“Cristiano Ronaldo is a positive addition, as he helps to disperse defenders,” Garcia told reporters at a press conference.

“He is one of the best players in the world. He will not finish his career at Al Nassr, he will return to Europe.”

Ronaldo could join a Premier League team when he goes back to Europe from Al Nassr. After all, he has lived in England twice before and knows the division well. Also, in the past few years, he has talked with both Chelsea and Manchester City about joining their teams.

Conclusions about Plans for Future

What is clear, though, is that as long as Ten Hag is in charge, Ronaldo will never play for Man Utd again. Ronaldo’s controversial interview did not impress Ten Hag at all, and he did everything he could to get the player out of the club as soon as possible.

Ronaldo’s career would end on a happy note if he joined Paris Saint-Germain and played with Lionel Messi. They have been rivals since they played for Real Madrid and Barcelona and competed for the Ballon d’Or. Even if they are past their best, it would be great to see two of the best players of all time play on the same team.
