I have a girlfriend that is just so wonderful and amazing. She is the most fantastic person I have ever met. I would honestly do anything for her. The one thing about her is that she just loves roses. The only thing she has ever told me is that she has always loved roses. That they remind her of her grandma because her grandma used to always grow roses in her garden. Since she was a little girl she has just loved the smell and just the rose itself. I think it’s nice that she likes roses because they remind her of her grandma.
Ever since she told me that I thought it would be pretty cool To send her roses to work. I remember the first time I did, she was so surprised and like beyond excited. I loved seeing her so happy and excited that I started sending her roses once a month. Here and there I’ll skip a month just to keep her guessing. The only thing that bothers me is that I could tell it bothers her when her roses die and she has to throw them out. I honestly didn’t know what to tell her. It was actually kind of depressing. So depressing that I even thought about stopping sending her roses, period. I talked to her about it and she said it was just because everytime she throws them out, it’s like saying goodbye to her grandma all over again. I asked her if she wanted me to stop sending them to her. She apologized and said no, that she loves getting them. So she made me promise I wouldn’t stop.
I kept doing as I was doing before and she did get way better at being able to just throw the flowers away without getting upset. I knew it still bothered her but I never said anything. One day I was online and I came across this site. It said that they sold roses that actually lasted good at least one whole year. I honestly didn’t believe it so I did some more research.
The site seemed legit. It was a flower boutique called Venus ET Fleur and they say their roses last at least a year with proper care. They say they are preserved roses, preserved by using a proprietary solution and color pigmentation process to keep the freshness of the roses and then instill them with a wide array of colors. I thought it sounded pretty legit so I placed an order to be delivered to my girlfriends work. I told one of her coworkers and they told me they would try to record her reaction.
On delivery day I was anxious myself to see the actual roses. I was at work myself just waiting to get a call from either my girlfriend or her co-worker. My girlfriend was the one that called me thanking me for her roses. I told her if she had seen that they would last for at least a year and she was like, “What”? She didn’t believe it either. So she took them home and put them in a vase. This was Four months ago and guess what, they still look the same as when they were first delivered. My girlfriends have been so happy and I’m happy because she’s happy. Nothing beats that, These preserved roses are foreal. I would highly recommend them. Go check them out. You wont regret it.
